At 16, Alec Loorz sued the United States government for negligence of the environment, for “allowing money to be more powerful than the survival of my generation, and for making decisions that threaten our right to a safe and healthy planet.” Now 17 he has widened his focus to education outreach with a number of projects aimed to educate kids and teens about global warming and science.
